All I can say about this book is wow. I am speechless how beautifully vulnerable and heartfelt Lenny gave us his soul in this book. It was as though Lenny was in front of me telling me about his life. The story is not only a story of an artist finding his self but how love ruled his life growing up with a nourishing mother and a God who never left him. I really hope Lenny writes a sequel to this wonderful story. The way he writes with so much tenderness and love about his family has melt my heart and filled my soul. I learned a lot about not only about Lenny Kravitz the artist but about Lenny the loving son father and husband. Please read this memoir you wont be disappointed. Even if your not a fan of Lennys music this is a profound story with a very powerful message about being true to your self despite of the many obstacles in life.
